Xiaomi just announced Redmi 3, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Redmi series in China. It packs a 5-inch HD screen that is clearly visible under bright sunlight, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 616 SoC, runs on MIUI 7 based on Android Lollipop, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), resulting in a quick focus of just 0.1 second and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Xiaomi confirms 4100mAh battery, Dual SIM with expansion slot and more for Redmi 3

Earlier this week Xiaomi confirmed that the Xiaomi Redmi 3 smartphone with a 5-inch display and metal body will be announced next week, few days after it got certified by TENAA in China. Now it has confirmed on weibo that it will come with a 4100mAh battery, dual SIM support and expandable memory up to 128GB This could come with dedicated SIM slots like the Motorola Moto X Play and Moto X Style smartphones in India.
