Redmi K30 Pro will be rebranded as POCO F2 Pro reveals Google Play device listing

Last month XDA findings revealed that Redmi K30 Pro might launch under POCO branding in India and everyone assumed it to be long-awaited POCO F2. Later POCO GM, C Manmohan confirmed that POCO F2 is a different smartphone from Redmi K30 Pro in India. Now Google Play’s list of supported devices reveals that the Redmi K30 Pro and upcoming POCO F2 Pro share the same “lmi” code name. It also reveals that Redmi K30 Pro 5G Zoom Edition will be launched under K30 Pro name in the global markets and it also has codename “Imiinpro” hinting that Redmi K30 Pro series is expected to launch in India. Redmi K30 Pro will not be rebranded as POCO F2, POCO TWS earbuds coming soon: POCO GM [Update: TWS in-ear buds confirmed]

[Update]: In a Zoom video chat session conducted on March 30, Manmohan had confirmed that the company is working on TWS earbuds. Today POCO team has put a teaser on twitter saying True wireless in-ears TWS is in works and will be coming to India soon. We can expect these to launch in India in coming weeks. Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition gets 12GB RAM + 512GB Storage version

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand introduced the Redmi K30 Pro 5G smartphone in China last month in normal and zoom edition with the latter featuring 30x digital zoom. Today the company has 12GB (LPDDR5 RAM) + 512GB (UFS 3.1) storage version of the zoom edition at 4499 yuan (US$ 634 / Rs. 49,060 approx.) making it the top-end version in the K30 Pro series. Redmi K30 Pro with 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 865, 64MP quad rear cameras, 4700mAh battery announced

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand just announced Redmi K30 Pro, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at an event in China as it has promised.  It packs a 6.67-inch E3 Super AMOLED screen from Samsung with 60Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, is powered by Snapdragon 865, 5G SA/NSA support with  Snapdragon X55 Modem, has 3435mm² VC liquid-cooled heat sink, Game Turbo 3.0, 4D vibration when playing games and said that it has been certified by TÜV Rheinland for high-performance gaming. It runs Android 10 with MIUI 11, comes with 3D glass back with AG technology, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, NFC and Hi-Res audio support. Redmi K30 Pro 5G with pop-up camera, Snapdragon 865, vapor chamber liquid cooling to be announced on March 24

Update: March 19, 2020 – Redmi has posted new images of the phone in Green, White and Purple colors. It has also confirmed 3435mm² VC liquid-cooled heat sink, Game Turbo 3.0, 4D vibration when playing games and said that it has been certified by TÜV Rheinland for high-performance gaming.
