Xiaomi held a launch event in China where the company has launched Redmi K50 Series of smartphones which consists of Redmi K50 and K50 Pro along with other IoT products.  The Redmi K50 is equipped with a 2K Dolby Vision OLED display that refreshes at 120Hz, a new 5nm MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor with optical image stabilization, and support for 67W fast charging. Redmi K50 series with Dimensity 8100 / Dimensity 9000 to be announced on March 17

After the K50G was introduced last month, Redmi today confirmed the launch of other phones in the Redmi K50 series in China on March 17th. The K50G was launched with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, and the other K50 and K50 Pro models should be powered by Dimensity 8100 and Dimensity 9000 SoCs, depending on the model. Redmi K50 Gaming Edition with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, gaming triggers to be announced on February 16

After teasers, Redmi today confirmed the launch of Redmi K50 Gaming Edition smartphone in China on February 16th. The teaser image shows a similar design as last year’s K40 Gaming Edition with magnetic gaming triggers, triple rear cameras with RGB lighting near the camera module. Redmi K50, K50 Pro and K50 Pro+ with Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 8000, Dimensity 9000 SoCs get certified

Last year, Redmi confirmed that it will launch a Redmi K50 series phone powered by the Dimensity 9000 in 2022. Today, three Redmi K50 series phones have been certified in China, according to leaker Digital Chat Station. Last month, the company confirmed that the Redmi K50 series new product launch conference will be held after the Spring Festival. Redmi phone with 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 870, 50MP rear camera, IP68 ratings, 100W fast charging surfaces

Xiaomi’ Redmi brand launched the K40 series of smartphones earlier this year, and the K40 Gaming Edition was introduced later. This was launched as POCO F3 GT in India. According to reliable leaker Digital Chat Station in China, Redmi is working on a new smartphone with a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and Snapdragon 870 SoC, same as the K40.
