Redmi Note 8 Pro has already received Android 10 update but Redmi Note 8 still runs on Android 9, but you can always install a custom ROM to stay on the latest version of Android. Xiaomi announced the latest iteration of its own proprietary Android skin MIUI, dubbed MIUI 11 along with Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro back in October in India. The company claims to have rolled out MIUI 11 Global Stable update for as many as 27 devices in just 47 days in a 4-staged rollout schedule.
