Redmi Note 8 MIUI 12.5 Software Update Tracker [Update: MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Update Rolling Out Widely in India]

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 8 smartphone in India running MIUI 10.3 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie) back in 2019. Xiaomi doesn’t follow any fixed update frequency for the MIUI Global Stable ROM but on average, the Global Stable ROM is updated once a couple of months. The Redmi Note 8 has already started receiving Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 update. Xiaomi announces MIUI 12 Global Pilot Testing Program for POCO F1, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Note 7/7S

Xiaomi announced the latest iteration of its own proprietary Android skin MIUI, dubbed MIUI 12 along with Mi 10 Youth Edition at an event in China back in March. The devices have started receiving MIUI China Closed Beta update in China, and the builds were leaked as a result, we could bring you MIUI 12 New Features and First look.
