Redmi Note 8 MIUI 12.5 Software Update Tracker [Update: MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Update Rolling Out Widely in India]

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 8 smartphone in India running MIUI 10.3 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie) back in 2019. Xiaomi doesn’t follow any fixed update frequency for the MIUI Global Stable ROM but on average, the Global Stable ROM is updated once a couple of months. The Redmi Note 8 has already started receiving Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 update. Get Android 10 on Redmi Note 8 with Pixel Experience Plus

Xiaomi’s Redmi unveiled the Redmi Note 8 series in the country back in October running MIUI 10.3 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie) and later rolled out MIUI 11 update to both the smartphones. The Pro variant has been the talk of the town since it is superior to the vanilla Redmi Note 8 in almost every aspect, except for the development aspect, thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC.
