Facebook reports $8.03 billion in revenue, hits 1.94 billion MAUs in Q1 2017

Facebook has reported financial earnings for Q1 2017. The social network has recorded $8.03 billion in revenue, up 49% YoY. Facebook continued its march toward the 2 billion user threshold as more than 1.94 billion people are now using its service monthly as of March 31, up 17 percent from a year earlier. Twitter reports $548 million in revenues, 328 million MAUs in Q1 2017

Twitter has announced financial earnings for Q1 2017. The micro blogging platform reported $548 million in revenues, a drop of 8 percent from the same period a year ago. Twitter added 9 million monthly active users over the quarter which is 7 million more than expected.

Netflix records $2.64 billion revenue in Q1 2017, nears 100 million subscribers

Netflix has announced financial earnings for Q1 2017. The US based streaming service has recorded $2.64 billion in revenue and net income of $178 million. It reported net subscription additions of 4.95 million for the quarter which fell short of the 5.2 million subscribers forecast. Netflix now has 98.75 million subscribers, and is expected to hit 100 million subscribers milestone easily next quarter.

Nintendo records $569M profit, Super Mario Run brings more than $53M in revenue

Nintendo has announced quarterly profits in a year by delivering profit of 64.7 billion yen ($569 million) for the period ending in December. It exceeded analysts’ average projection for 20.5 billion yen. Revenue for the quarter fell 21 percent to 174.3 billion yen.
