NETGEAR today launched R6080 and R6120 802.11ac Dual Band AC1000 & AC1200 Wi-Fi routers for home. As per the company claims, the R6080 & R6120 is expected to deliver Wi-Fi speeds up to 700mbps and 900mbps, respectively. The R6120 also has an USB 2.0 port on the back that allows users to find photos, videos and music stored on a shared USB hard drive and enjoy them on a DLNA TV or share them with others wirelessly. The Cupertino giant, Apple has dissolved its wireless routers division in an attempt to focus more on the products that generate major revenue. According to a new report from Bloomberg, the engineers in the wireless router team has been dispersed to other departments including Apple TV.
