Motorola has announced Motorola DEFY MINI dustproof and water-resistant phone powered by Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It has 3.2-inch touchscreen Corning GorillaGlass display, 600MHz processor, 3MP rear-facing camera with flash, VGA front-facing camera for video chat. It also comes with Motorola’s MotoSwitch user interface that learns who you talk to and which apps you use and keeps all of that information. Samsung has announced its first rugged phone, Samsung Galaxy Xcover, which is the new addition to the Galaxy series . It runs Android 2.3 and comes with scratch resistant display, and it is dirt and water-resistant up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. We just told you about the Droid Incredible 2, which is finally announced for Verizon Wireless, but it’s not the only phone Verizon is launching on April 28th. Today, Verizon officially announced the Casio G’zOne Commando which is there first ever Android powered rugged device. We first heard about it in March, and now Verizon has officially unveiled it. They are planning to launch it along with the Incredible 2 on 28th April for $199.99 with a new 2-yr customer agreement.
