Samsung has introduced 128 gigabyte (GB), 3-bit NAND-based flashed storage based on Embedded MultiMediaCard (eMMC) 5.0 technology targeted at mid-market smartphones and tablets. The company has already introduced 128GB flash memory based on Universal Flash Storage (UFS) 2.0 and eMMC 5.1 standards for top-end and premium smartphones.
