Samsung and Apple are the leading Smartphone vendors by shipments in Q4 2012 and for the whole 2012, according to a report by Research Firm IDC (International Data Corporation). The worldwide mobile phone market grew 1.9% year-over-year in the Q4 2012 with shipments of 482.5 million, compared to 473.4 million units in the Q4 2011.
