AT&T to launch Gingerbread update for all Android devices sold this year

If you live in USA and you recently bought an Android powered device from AT&T, then I got some good news for you. Today, AT&T officially announced that all Android phones sold in 2011 will receive Android 2.3 Gingerbread update. They announced that HTC Inspire 4G will receive it sometime in September and as you people may know that Atrix 4G recently received it, which means AT&T is on the roll at the moment. AT&T and Samsung to announce something special on May 5th, Nexus S or Galaxy S II?

Google Nexus S was announced by Google and Samsung last year which is successor to Nexus One and also the first ever Gingerbread device. It’s currently available in almost every major country and in USA, T-Mobile and Sprint is offering it. Sprint got the 4G version whereas the one on T-Mobile is just normal one. Telus announced the HTC Desire, next destination AT&T?

Recently, HTC Desire received FCC blessings, and its 3G bands were compatible with AT&T, Rogers, Telus, and Bell. When we sawthat, we were 100% that it’s making it’s way to Canada or USA. Dell Streak hitting AT&T on July 19th?

A few months ago, Dell CEO Michael Dell confirmed that the Dell Streak will be hitting AT&T later this Summer, but Micheal didn’t gave any further information about the release date, but today BGR did.
