Samsung launched the Galaxy A6 smartphone in India last month starting at Rs. 21,990, along with the Galaxy A6+. Today the smartphone has received Rs. 2000 price cut in just a month of launch, and is available for Rs. 19,990. The company also introduced the 64GB version of the smartphone alongside for Rs. 22,990, now this variant of the phone will go on sale soon for Rs. 20,990, which is Rs. 2000 cheaper than the original price. Samsung has confirmed that it will launch Galaxy J6 smartphone in the ‘J series’ in India on May 21st. India will be one of the first countries to get the smartphone, and the company has confirmed that it will feature an Infinity display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The company will also launch the Galaxy A6+ (SM-A605F) alongside, which was introduced earlier this month.
Samsung just announced the Galaxy A6 (SM-A600F) and Galaxy A6+ (SM-A605F) smartphones in the ‘Galaxy A Series’ after several leaks. Both the phones come with Super AMOLED Infinity displays with 18.5:9 screen ratio, but the A6 comes with a 5.6-inch HD+ screen while the A6+ features a 6-inch FHD+ screen. Both the phones have a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, and the A6+ also has a secondary 5-megapixel rear camera with Live Focus mode that lets you control the depth of field and bokeh effect before or even after the shot is taken. Press images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A6+ surfaced last week, and the phone also got certified by Taiwan’s National Communications Commission a few days back, now the phone has been certified by TENAA in China. Press images and detailed specifications of both the Galaxy A6 (SM-A600) and the Galaxy A6+ ( SM-A605) have surfaced. This also reveals Snapdragon 450 SoC for the A6+ and the A6 is said to be powered by Exynos 7870. The A6+ will also come with a 24-megapixel front camera.
Earlier this month Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ smartphones got certified by the FCC. Now the press shots of the Galaxy A6+ has surfaced, thanks to listing on a Polish site. It shows the phone’s unibody metal design, dual rear cameras, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, dedicated dual SIM and microSD slots on the left, loudspeaker grill on the right and front flash.
Samsung is on the verge of launching the Galaxy A6 and A6+ smartphones in 2018 and will follow the A8 and A8+ (2018) in most markets.
