Samsung today launched the Galaxy A8+ (2018) smartphone in India, as it had promised. It was introduced last month along with the Galaxy A8 (2018) and packs a 6-inch Full HD+Infinity Super AMOLED 18.5:9 display, is powered by Octa-Core Exynos 7885 14nm processor, runs Android 7.1.1 (Nougat), has 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, and a 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel dual front cameras, both with f/1.9 aperture. Samsung Galaxy A8 Hands On and Photo Gallery

After launching the successor Galaxy A8 in China last month, Samsung has now brought it to India and will start selling it from today across all retail and online channels at Rs. 32,500. In the Indian variant, Samsung has left out the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC and is using its own Exynos 5430 chipset. Rest of the specifications are same as the Chinese Galaxy A8. Samsung Galaxy A8 launched in India for Rs. 32500

Samsung has launched the Galaxy A8, the company’s latest top-end smartphone in its A series. It was announced earlier this month in China, packs a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with 2.5mm ultra-narrow bezels and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), but the Indian variant is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 5430 processor instead of Snapdragon 615 SoC. It has a full metal uni-body design, similar to the other A series smartphones and is just 5.9mm thick. It also has a fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button.

It packs a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with ultra-narrow bezels and has full metal uni-body design, similar to the other A series smartphones and is just 5.9mm thick. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). It has a fingerprint sensor on the home button. It was recently revealed in a brochure that confirms the 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 5.9mm thickness and a 16-megapixel rear camera. According to the brochure the camera has f/1.9 aperture and the smartphone is powered by a Octa-Core Exynos 5430 SoC. Samsung Galaxy A8 with 5.9mm thickness gets certified in China

Live images of Samsung Galaxy A8 (SM-A8000) surfaced last week, now the smartphone has been certified by TENAA (via) in China. It confirms most of the specifications of the smartphone and also reveals that it will have a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, and not a 5.5-inch display as rumored earlier.
