Samsung has cut the price of the Galaxy Core 2 to Rs. 8,007 in India, soon after the launch of Android One smartphones. Prior to the price cut it was selling for Rs.11,900 on the official eStore, which is the launch price of the smartphone. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Core 2 (SM-G355H), its latest mid-range smartphone and the successor of Galaxy Core recently. Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom reports that the phone would be priced at Rs. 11,599 (MOP) and the MRP would be Rs. 13,390. It is the successor of last year’s Galaxy Core and has a 4.5-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) LCD capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Samsung TouchWiz Essence UI. Russian website hi-tech.mail.ru has posted the press images and the specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Core 2 Dual SIM (SM-G355H).
