Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand 2 in White in India, back in January this year. In February, Black and Pink variants of the smartphone went on sale in India. Now the Gold variant of the Grand 2 has appeared on the official Samsung India eStore. It has a leather-like removable back cover similar to other color variants and has black bezel on the front.

Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 went on sale in India last month, but only the White colored phone was available at the launch. Now the Black Galaxy Grand 2 is available in India from the official Samsung India eStore. It has a leather-like back cover similar to the white version. Even though the company did not announce the final pricing of the smartphone, Manu Sharma, Director Samsung Mobiles, revealed that the device would be priced between Rs. 22900 and Rs. 24900 when it launches in January 2014. Samsung has sent us an invite for a smartphone launch on Monday, December 23rd, 2013. The invite just says “New GALAXY Smartphone Launch” without giving any hint about the smartphone. Since there are no new smartphones for Samsung to launch in India and it had already released the new Galaxy S Duos 2, it is likely to launch the Grand 2 next week. The Galaxy Grand that was launched earlier this year was one of the popular mid-range smartphone in this year. The Grand 2 with better display, faster processor more RAM and a larger battery would definitely attract more customers in the mid-range segment.
