Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G went on sale in India through the official Samsung India eStore last week, today the company has officially launched the smartphone in the country. It was announced back in February and packs a 5-inch qHD display, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). Samsung announced the Galaxy Grand Prime 4G for India back in February at the Samsung Forum 2015 in Bangkok. Samsung has finally started selling the smartphone in India through its official eStore. It packs a 5-inch qHD display, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). When we went hands-on with the smartphone it was running Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Samsung has announced the Galaxy J1 4G, Galaxy Core Prime 4G and Galaxy Grand Prime 4G, three new 4G-enabled smartphones for India at the Samsung Forum 2015 in Bangkok. All these smartphones have both TD-LTE B40 (2300) and FDD-LTE B3 (1800) for India and comes with dual SIM support. Samsung had already launched the 3G variants of these smartphones in India.
