Samsung has silently introduced the Galaxy M54 5G, the company next ‘M series’ phone, after several rumours. Rumours about the Galaxy M54 surfaced last month, which said that the phone will use Snapdragon 888 SoC. Now the Geekbench listing of the Galaxy M54 (SM-M546B) has surfaced, which reveals the chipset model number as S5E8835 which should be Exynos 1380, the successor to the Exynos 1280 with the model number S5E8825 present in the Galaxy A53 5G. Samsung began the Galaxy M series as a budget series, but it has now expanded into the midrange and upper midrange categories. After the release of the Galaxy M53 5G in April, the time has come for the successor. The Galaxy M54 5G appears to be powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset.
