Samsung has announced the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, a cheaper version of last year’s Tab 3. This has a 7-inch (1024×600) TFT LCD display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI on top. It has a 2-megapixel rear camera. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab 3 with a 7-inch display back in April. It launched in India in two different variants, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211 with 3G support and the WiFi variant was launched as Galaxy Tab 3 210. Samsung even launched the Galaxy Tab 3 310 and the Galaxy Tab 3 311 with a 8-inch display. Now Sammobile reports that Samsung plans to launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite in January 2014.
