Qualcomm just announced the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, the company’s latest mid-range 7 series Mobile Platform, as the successor to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. This has a 1+3+4 architecture, and the Kryo CPU promises over 50% improvement, reaching peak speeds up to 2.91 GHz, while the Adreno GPU promises 2x the performance compared to Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. After rumours, Qualcomm has scheduled an event on March 17th in China to introduce its new Snapdragon Mobile Platform. The invite doesn’t reveal any other details, but based on earlier rumours, it will introduce a new Snapdragon 7 series SoC as the successor to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 which was unveiled last May. realme unveiled the GT Neo5 smartphone earlier this month, and the phone will be introduced for the global markets as the GT3 at the MWC next week. Today, the specifications of the GT Neo5 SE has surfaced. According to leaker Digital Leak Station, the phone will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 instead of Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
