Sony Mobile has started rolling out the Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) update (version 15.3.A.0.26) for the users. This update brings a revamped homescreen, improved app organization, updated Media apps and new camera modes such as Burst mode and Auto Scene Recognition. Sony released the Xperia C earlier this month running on Android 4.2 out of the box and rolled out the Android 4.2 update for the Xperia Z and the ZL recently. The company has also promised Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) update for range of devices, but they did not announce the time frame of the roll out yet. Sony Xperia L now available in India for Rs. 18990

Sony Xperia L that went on pre-order in India is now available from online retailer Snapdeal. The Xperia L was announced back in March along with the Xperia SP and packs a 4.3-inch (854 x 480 pixels) Scratch-resistant capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8230 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, Exmor RS sensor, 720p HD video recording and  a VGA front-facing camera. It also has a dedicated camera key and comes with a  LED notification light below the display. Sony Xperia L up for pre-order in India for Rs. 18990


Sony Xperia L is now pre-order in India from online retailer Infibeam. The Xperia L was announced back in March along with the Xperia SP. The Xperia SP was launched in India last month. It has a 4.3-inch (854 x 480 pixels) Scratch-resistant capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8230 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Sony Xperia SP and Xperia L get a pre-order price in UK, coming late April


Sony announced the Xperia SP and the mid-range Xperia L smartphone yesterday. Online retailer Clove UK has announced that they have started taking pre-orders for these devices. The Xperia SP has a  4.6-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD Reality Display with with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, powered by a 1.7 GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960Pro processor and the Xperia L comes with a 4.3-inch (854 x 480 pixels) Scratch-resistant capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8230 processor. Sony Mobile has also announced a mid-range device, the Xperia L along with the Xperia SP. It has a 4.3-inch (854 x 480 pixels) Scratch-resistant capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8230 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, Exmor RS sensor and also has a dedicated camera key. It is capable of recording 720p HD videos. It also comes with a VGA front-facing camera. It has a LED notification light below the display. Looks like this would replace the Xperia J that was launched last year.
