Sony launched their current flagship – Sony Xperia Z1 in September, 2013 during IFA and it has been the company’s flagship till now. Last year at CES 2013, Sony had announced their twin flagships – Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL, and hence we expected there was some speculation that Sony will be unveiling something in the smartphone category at CES 2014. We were right, they did announce a smartphone with top of the line specifications, but it isn’t exactly the company’s flagship. Sony Xperia Z1s with 5-inch 1080p display announced exclusively for T-Mobile in the U.S

Sony Mobile has announced that they would bring Xperia Z1S, the US variant of the flagship waterproof, the Xperia Z1 exclusively for  T-Mobile in U.S. It has the same specifications of the Z1, including a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos Display with with X-Reality engine, 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). It has a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Sony G lens with a 27mm wide angle f/2.0 aperture custom 1/2.3″ Sony Exmor RS image sensor, BIONZ image processing engine, 1080p video recording and a 2-megapixel 1080p front-facing camera. Sony Xperia Z1S press image surfaces, rumored for 2013 launch

Sony announced the Sony Xperia Z1 f (SO-02F), a variant of the Xperia Z1 in Japan for NTT Docomo in their Winter 2013 range. Now press image of Sony Xperia Z1S, a completely new device has appeared, thanks to evleaks. The leaked press image is completely different from the Z1 f, but the size of the phone is similar.
