Samsung and Google are integrating stylus handwriting-to-text into Chrome for Android

This year, a Google Pixel tablet with the codename “Tangor” and support for the USI stylus was spotted. And now with Android 13, Google is making Chrome easier to type on with a stylus. Google’s open-source nature has also made it possible for many people to work on different parts of the company. Also, Samsung is probably the largest one, and it looks like we’ll get another feature from the company in time for Android 13; this one should make it even more tablet-friendly than it already is. Samsung patent listing hints at upcoming Galaxy Note6 Edge

Samsung introduced an Edge variant of their Note smartphone alongside the Note 4 back in 2014. While the Note Edge wasn’t a runaway success and more of a prototype to test the market, Samsung decided not to bring out an Edge variant of the Note5 last year.

Huawei Matebook laptop with stylus tipped to be announced on Feb. 21

Huawei has teased an invite for an event at the upcoming MWC 2016 next week, where it is expected to unveil a device that comes with a stylus. The invite states that the company has scheduled an event on February 21.

Samsung silently fixes S Pen issue in newer Galaxy Note5 units

For those of you who have followed the Note5 closely since its release, you might remember an issue with the Galaxy Note5 that many referred to as pengate. The design flaw allowed users to insert their pens incorrectly and if they pulled it out after doing so, cause damage to the detection sensor.

Samsung Galaxy Note5 Review

Every year at IFA, Samsung unveils one of the most awaited smartphones of the year, the new Note smartphone. The first Galaxy Note smartphone was met with a lot of criticism from many users and bloggers alike for being too big and being too similar to the Galaxy S II in many aspects. Many predicted that the device would fail. Since then, the Note series has come a long way. The Galaxy Note5 is the fifth iteration in the Galaxy lineup of devices. It is probably the best example of the kind of engineering and power packed smartphones that Samsung is able to produce. This year, Samsung announced the Note5 earlier than usual prior to IFA which is its usual stomping ground in an attempt to enter the market prior to the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Alongside it came the Galaxy S6 edge+ which is a larger version of the S6 edge with an extra gig of RAM and a larger battery.

Leaked LG wearable envisions a colourful alternate way to carry a stylus

LG might be working on the Google Smartwatch for all we know, but it seems like they are trying their hand at some other wearable products as well. evleaks has posted the image above, which looks to have a colourful wearable capacitive stylus that can bend. While we have no exact details for this product, it does look like an accessory at best, for the phone as well as for us. At a glance, it will look like a wrist band, but the next moment you can whip it out and start taking notes on your large screen phone. The tip of the stylus reminds us that this is definitely of the capacitive type, which means that it can work for a product like, lets say, the iPad too.

Samsung Galaxy Note II unveiled: Comes with Android Jellybean, 5.5″ HD Super AMOLED display

Samsung just announced the Samsung Galaxy Note II, the follow-up to its popular phablet. The Note II comes with an even larger 5.5 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720. Battery capacity has been upped to 3,100 mAh and it is of the fast charging variety. Powered by a quad core Exynos processor clocked at 1.6Ghz, the Note II runs on Android 4.1 Jellybean.
