Sony Xperia SP Unboxing

Sony announced the Xperia SP last month and its finally available in retail. We’ve been playing with the handset for a few days now but before we publish our review, here’s a quick unboxing to pique your interest!

Sony-Xperia-SP-1In terms of specifications, the handset is powered by a dual core 1.7Ghz processor. An 8MP camera can be spotted at the back. Running on Android Jelly Bean, the handset has a 4.6 inch 720p display. A very cool feature of the handset is its color changing led strip at the bottom. We’ll have more on that in the review. Asus FonePad Unboxing

The FonePad is one of the first Intel Atom Z2420  powered Android tablets to hit the market. Asus announced the FonePad at MWC 2013 this year along with the Padfone Infinity. The “FonePad” as the name suggests is a 3G tablet and phone packed into a 7 inch tablet form factor at an affordable price point. Yes there are a couple of microphones and an earpiece on the device and you can actually put the FonePad to the ear and make a phone call although we don’t know if it will look cool. The tablet comes in 2 colours – Champagne Gold and Titanium Gray. Here is a video where we unbox the Champagne Gold version of the Asus FonePad.

HTC One Unboxing

If there is a fading brand in the world of smart phones, especially in the Android space, it would be HTC. We have been hearing a lot about how HTC has supposedly been falling in the past couple of years. Their HTC One X and series of devices were considered an initiative for a turn around in 2012, and the same mantra is now being applied for the HTC One, their newest 2013 flagship device that launched just before the Mobile World Congress. This flagship from HTC is one of their most interesting efforts. You can see the fruits in every department including design, build, hardware, and definitely the camera. We have had some hands on experience of the One at the Mobile World Congress, but we now have it in our labs. And as a precursor, we start with the ritualistic unboxing of the device.

Micromax A116 Canvas HD Unboxing

A few weeks ago Micromax, the popular Indian smartphone manufacturer, showed off its next Android flagship. Catering to the budget minded audience, the Micromax A116 Canvas HD packs a punch in terms of specifications at an extremely wallet friendly price point of Rs. 13,990.

HTC Butterfly Unboxing

The long awaited successor to the HTC One X was finally launched in India earlier this month. Called the HTC Butterfly, the phone brings a gorgeous 5inch full HD display and top of the line specs. The phone runs on Qualcomm’s S4 Pro quad core processor and is paired with 2GB of RAM. There’s 16GB of storage built in and you also get access to a microSD card slot. Apple iPad 4 WiFi+Cellular version unboxing

The Apple iPad 4 was a launch that was completely unprecedented. It was so weird because of one main reason, it strayed from the yearly refresh cycle that is usually religiously followed by Apple. The iPad 4th generation was an immediate successor and unlike other successors, the predecessor was immediately taken out of the shelves to make way for the new one. After causing some outrage in the stateside, it has now landed in our labs for extensive testing. So, lets get to the ceremonious unboxing of the new iPad 4, in our case, the 64 GB WiFi LTE version.

Nokia Lumia 920 Unboxing

Nokia unveiled the Lumia 920, their latest flagship device that runs on the Windows Phone 8 back in September. Here we have the unboxing. The box looks similar to the boxes of the previous Lumia devices. The device has a 4.5-inch (1280 × 768 pixels) Pure Motion HD+ IPS display with 332 PPI pixel density and 600 Nits brightness. It is one of the best smartphone displays . It is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor.

Apple iPad mini WiFi+Cellular Version Unboxing

Here is a quick unboxing of the Apple iPad Mini WiFi+Cellular version. We had already unboxed the WiFi only version few days ago and here we have the Cellular version.We like to simply call as iPad mini 3G or 4G or even the iPad mini with LTE. Since LTE still is not widespread like 3G , we are going to be using this iPad mini over a 3G HSPA network. Watch the unboxing video below

Unboxing the Nokia Lumia 510

Nokia introduced its most affordable Windows Phone device, the Lumia 510 sometime back. Running WP 7.5, the Lumia 510 is powered by a 800Mhz Cortex A5 processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. One of the highlights of the smartphone has to be its 4″ WVGA display.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Unboxing

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is hitting stores soon in India and here we have an exclusive unboxing of this  quad-core phone from Samsung from the Middle East thanks to our very own Sandeep who is on a vacation.The retail packaging for the Note 2 is pretty much the same across the globe. Watch the unboxing video below.The Note 2 is a pretty big phone but surprisingly it is easier to grip than the first Galaxy Note thanks some design changes.

Nokia Asha 311 Unboxing

Here is the unboxing of the Nokia Asha 311 which is one of the first Asha smartphones from the company. It packs a 3 inch full touch capacitive screen which is also scratch resistant. It is powered by a 1GHz processor and a microSD 2GB card comes in the box which is upgradeable to 32GB. It packs a 3.2 Megapixel camera on the back. Check out the unboxing video below. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 Unboxing

Back in March this year Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab 2 310 at Samsung Forum in Thailand. The device is a 7 inch Android tablet running on latest version of Android 4.0 ICS and packs 16GB of internal memory.It supports both 4G and WiFi functionality. The New 3rd Generation 4G iPad already gets unboxed in Vietnam

While March 16th is the actual launch day for the iPad 3 which is known as the new iPad , some lucky folks over at Tinhte.vn in Vietnam have managed to grab one a little early. While there is an unboxing video and tons of pics of the device , it’s barely any different from the iPad 2. I guess we have to use the Retina display in person in order to experience the difference. We can spot an LTE toggle under the settings and also a slightly bigger camera sensor on the rear.
