Vertu, the luxury phone maker, has launched its first Luxury handset of 2013, called the Vertu Ti, after being acquired by European investment firm EQT. Vertu had been an integral part of Nokia for several years till the Finnish company decided to sell Vertu’s majority shares, last year. Vertu, popular luxury mobile phone maker launched VERTU Ti last week. The Android smartphone is expected to launch in India in March. It features a 3.7 inch sapphire crystal screen that is largest ever engineered that makes the screen virtually scratch proof and it is tested to be 4 times stronger than other smart phones in terms of impact resistance.
