Apple launches iTunes Music & Video Store in India

Apple has finally introduced its Music and Video store in India giving users here another avenue to get hold of content legally. Pricing is quite competent with individual tracks being priced between Rs 12-15 per track and most albums ranging from Rs. 110 to Rs. 300 depending on how old the album is and its popularity.

Movie pricing varies between Rs. 290 to Rs. 500 for SD or HD movies. You also have an option to rent them at Rs. 80 for Bollywood content while International movies will be charged at Rs. 120. Users can purchase and download music videos for priced between Rs. 15 and Rs 20 depending on content.

The Bollywood content is looking quite solid though if you’re looking for a good international collection especially movies, you might be disappointed. The iTunes Match service which lets you match your music collection to the cloud has also been launched here at Rs. 1200.

Apple iPad mini Unboxing

The Apple iPad mini was announced on October 23rd and was launched across select countries worldwide on November 2nd. We managed to get our hands on the device and bring this unboxing for you.We have both the white and black versions of the iPad mini with us and we will also be comparing it with Nexus 7 and the iPad 2.

Micromax HookUp launched, Brings along free messaging and more

Micromax has launched a new application which allows users to exchange images, audio and video files alongside the standard messages. Quite similar to the popular Whatsapp service, the application is absolutely free to use and according to Micromax “combines the best of IM chat and text messaging service.”

As you can see there is the notification bar which lets you access data , WiFi , bluetooth and silent controls. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 Unboxing

Back in March this year Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab 2 310 at Samsung Forum in Thailand. The device is a 7 inch Android tablet running on latest version of Android 4.0 ICS and packs 16GB of internal memory.It supports both 4G and WiFi functionality. Samsung Galaxy S3 Hands On Video

We managed to get our hands on the Samsung Galaxy S3 again at CTIA after the London event from where you saw the Photo Gallery and our live blog.The Galaxy S3 is actually a feature packed handset and does impress when held in the hand. Only let down is the plasticky finish but even then I seemed to like the white version over the blue version. It is pretty fast and comes out on the top in the benchmarks we tested on it.

The New 3rd Generation 4G iPad already gets unboxed in Vietnam

While March 16th is the actual launch day for the iPad 3 which is known as the new iPad , some lucky folks over at Tinhte.vn in Vietnam have managed to grab one a little early. While there is an unboxing video and tons of pics of the device , it’s barely any different from the iPad 2. I guess we have to use the Retina display in person in order to experience the difference. We can spot an LTE toggle under the settings and also a slightly bigger camera sensor on the rear.
