vivo X Fold with 8-inch 2K E5 LTPO AMOLED 120Hz foldable screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, dual ultrasonic fingerprint scanners teased

vivo today officially posted the image of its first foldable phone – vivo X Fold, and also showcased its design in the teaser video. This comes after the company confirmed that it will introduce the phone on April 11th. The company has also confirmed that it will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, feature a high refresh screen on the inside and outside, and both these will include ultrasonic in-display fingerprint unlocking. vivo X Fold, X Note and vivo Pad to be announced on April 11

After teasers, vivo has confirmed the launch of X Fold, a foldable phone in China on April 11th. The invite says that the X Fold will bring the foldable screen 2.0 era. Based on rumours, the vivo X Fold is expected to feature an 8-inch 120Hz screen on the inside with UTG glass. It is also said to be the first foldable phone with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. vivo’s first tablet that will launch in H1 2022 could be powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC

During the announcement of vivo’s own V1 imaging chip back in August, the company’s executive vice president, Hu Baishan, confirmed that vivo’s first tablet will be launched in the first half of next year. vivo confirms X70 series will feature self-developed V1 imaging chip, launch in September; vivo tablet coming in H1 2022

After recent rumours, vivo’s executive vice president, Hu Baishan in an interview with the media today confirmed that the company will use the first self-developed V1 image chip in the vivo X70 series. The new smartphone series will be introduced in September, as rumoured earlier.
