Skype for Windows Phone out of Beta, now available for Download
Skype has finally arrived for the Windows Phone devices at the Windows Phone Marketplace. Skype launched the beta version of the app at the Mobile World Congress earlier this February. The Skype app lets you make free audio and video calls to your Skype contacts over 3G and 4G or Wi-Fi. It also supports group chats, and you can also update your profile and account information. Nokia launches Play To beta for Lumia phones
Nokia has launched Play To app for Lumia phones in the Nokia Beta labs. This app would enable you share your photos and videos from your Nokia Lumia phone to your DLNA-capable devices (TV’s, BlueRay players, Mediaplayer in Windows 7, etc…) over your Wi-Fi. Mundu Mobile TV app is now available for Windows Phone 7 devices as they announced last month. Their Symbian app clocked 5 million downloads on the Nokia Store last month and held its place as one of the top 10 free apps on the Nokia Store in just 11 months. Sports Tracker now available for Windows Phone devices
Sports Tracker fitness app is now available for Windows Phone devices. They have also announced a Facebook contest to win a Nokia Lumia 800. Sports Tracker lets you track and analyze your performance such as Running, Cycling, Swimming and more, share workout data with your friends, get fit and stay healthier. It was expected to be available by November during Nokia Lumia 800 launch, but delayed. Sports Tracker is already available for Symbian, Android, iPhone and Nokia N9.
