Verizon has just launched their first smartphone to run Windows Phone OS on their network. Known as the LG Lancet, smartphone comes with Advanced Calling 1.0 and will set you back as little as US$ 5 a month.

When Nokia announced it’s first Windows Phone at Nokia World couple of months back at London , I seriously did not expect the Nokia Lumia 800 to go on sale in India till 2012. But Nokia India just sold the first set of Lumia 800s to customers who had pre-booked the device at Ambience Mall in Gurgaon near New Delhi last night at 10 p.m. Customers had to pay Rs.29999 for the device.Nokia had roped in Tennis star Sania Mirza to hand over the devices to the customers.
