Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch Mi 11 series of smartphones in India soon. The company doesn’t reveal how many phones it plans to launch. The company launched the Mi 11 in China in January and for global markets last month. Xiaomi just announced Mi 11, the company’s latest flagship smartphone for the global markets as it had promised. It packs a 6.81-inch E4 AMOLED quad curved DotDisplay with peak brightness of 1,500 nits, 120Hz refresh rate and touch sampling rate of 480Hz and MEMC motion compensation. It has JNCD of 0.38 and uses its self-developed color calibration algorithm. The phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus that offers better scratch and drop resistance. Xiaomi has started sending out invites for the launch of its Mi 11 flagship smartphone globally, after it was introduced in China last month. It will also introduce the MIUI 12.5, the next MIUI update for the global markets on the same day. It is doubtful if we can see the Mi 11 Pro at the event since it is expected to be introduced in China first. However, we can expect the Mi 11 Lite which is rumoured to pack a Snapdragon 732G SoC or possibly a Mi 10 version called the Mi 10s with Snapdragon 870. Xiaomi already confirmed that the Mi 11 will be the first phone to be powered by Snapdragon 888 5G 5nm Mobile Platform. Today the company’s co-founder Lei Jun has confirmed that it will be introduced at an event in China on December 28th.
