Xiaomi just announced Mi 5S, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at an event in China, as it had promised. It has a 5.15-inch 1080p curved glass pressure sensitive display, is powered by a Quad-Core Snadpragon 821 processor and runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX378 1/2.3-inch sensor, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), resulting in a quick focus, 4K video recording and a 4-megapixel front-facing camera with pixel size of2 microns. Xiaomi has scheduled an event on September 27th in China where it will introduce a new device. The teaser features a huge ‘S’ wording, that hints at the rumored Mi 5S smartphone.
