Xiaomi Mi 8 with 6.21-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, AI dual rear cameras and Mi 8 Explorer Edition with in-display fingerprint sensor, 3D face unlock announced

Xiaomi just announced its flagship Mi 8 smartphone at an event in China, as it had promised. It has a 6.21-inch FHD+ AMOLED display from Samsung with a notch and 88.5% screen-to-body ratio. It has a glass back with an  unique water drop arc design, four curved glass body with 7 series aluminum frame. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 with up to 8GB of RAM  and runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI on top. It has a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.4µm pixel size, OIS, Dual Pixel auto focus and a secondary 12-megapixel rear camera for AI portraits  has AI scene recognition.

Xiaomi Mi 8, Mi 8 SE and Mi Band 3 surface, Mi 8 could launch in 8 countries including India

Xiaomi is all set to introduce its flagship Mi 8 smartphone, MIUI 10 and Mi Band 3 tomorrow at an event in China. We had already seen some images of the Mi 8, its retail box, and the company has already confirmed that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC. Now the press shots of the Mi 8 and the Mi 8 SE (Special Edition) has surfaced that shows a notch on both the phones. Xiaomi Mi 8 retail box surfaces – Snapdragon 845, AI dual rear cameras, dual GPS module, 3D face recognition and no 3.5mm jack

Xiaomi openly announced that it would introduce the Mi 8 flagship on May 31st along with many other products which happen to be the Mi Band 3, MIUI 10 and more. Though we are just a couple of days away from the announcement, leaksters are not sparing any details till the launch.
