Xiaomi officially announced the latest version of its popular android skin MIUI along with Mi 5X back in July, Redmi Note 4 was amongst the first devices to receive MIUI 9 based Global beta ROM update on 11 Aug, and Xiaomi rolled out Global Beta ROM to all devices by Sep end in three batches. Xiaomi MIUI 9 is faster, smarter and more refined, Beta ROM coming in August

Xiaomi has announced MIUI 9, the latest MIUI ROM at an event in Beijing along with the Mi 5X smartphone. It brings several improvements, optimizations and new features, including new smart assistant and universal search. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun said that now there are 281 million active MIUI users worldwide in 55 languages and 142 countries. Xiaomi teases MIUI 9 in images, Mi 5X in video ahead of announcement on July 26

We just have one more day ahead of Xiaomi Mi 5X and MIUI 9 event on Wednesday. The company already released official images of the Mi 5X a few days back. Today it has released teaser images of new features that are coming with the MIUI 9 and also released a new teaser video for the Mi 5X.
