Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 smartphone earlier this year running MIUI 9.2 based on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat), and it got the MIUI 9.5 update few months back, but it was based on Android Nougat 7.1.2, last month it released Android Oreo update.
