Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro in February, and the company last month said that it sold 1 Million or 10 lakh Units of Redmi Note 7 Series within a month of launch. Along with the Redmi Note 7 Pro Xiaomi also launched the Redmi Note 7. It has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ waterdrop notch display with 1.95mm narrow bezels, 81.37% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC with up to 4GB of RAM, runs Android Pie with MIUI 10 on top. Last week Xiaomi confirmed that it will launch the Redmi Note 7 smartphone in India on February 28th, even Flipkart has started teasing the phone. It opened registrations to buy tickets for the event on the same day, but it sold out quickly. Today it has opened the 2nd round of registrations on mi.com. The ticket costs Rs. 480, and the company says that it will offer goodies worth Rs. 1500 for all the attendees.
After teasing the Redmi Note 7 launch in India few weeks back, Xiaomi has confirmed that the smartphone will launch in the country on February 28th. Xiaomi said that it will open registrations to buy tickets for the event later today.

Xiaomi just announced Redmi Note 7, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone under the new ‘Redmi by Xiaomi’ brand in China, as it had promised. The phone packs a 6.3-inch Full HD+ waterdrop notch display with 1.95mm narrow bezels, is powered by Snapdragon 660 with up to 6GB of RAM, runs Android Pie with MIUI 10 on top. The main highlight of the smartphone is its 48-megapixel rear camera with 1/2″ Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor, f/1.8 aperture with four-in-one pixel binning to make an 12MP image with 1.6μm pixel. It has a 5-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots and also comes with AI features. There is a 13-megapixel camera on the front.
Xiaomi is all set to introduce its new Redmi smartphone at an event in China today in a couple of hours. Ahead of the launch, the company introduced the new Redmi by Xiaomi logo yesterday, today the company’s has confirmed that the phone will be called the Redmi Note 7 and the CEO Lei Jun has announced the appointment of Lu Weibing as the president of the new Redmi brand and vice president of Xiaomi.
