Flipkart accidentally ships Android Xolo Q900s instead of Windows Phone model
In a surprising incident, a customer who had ordered Windows Phone powered Xolo Q900s has received an Android variant of the same device from Flipkart. Xolo unveiled the Android version of the Q900s last week almost a month after launching a Windows model of the same variant.

Microsoft partners with 9 more manufacturers for more Windows Phones
One of the main reasons that Windows Phones haven’t sold as much as Android smartphones is because of the lack of manufacturers. At launch, Microsoft had only a handful of manufacturers and as Windows Phone grew, the number of manufacturers shrunk and at one point, Microsoft bought out Nokia, which was probably the only company making Windows Phones.

Xolo Q3000 Unboxing and First Impressions
The Xolo Q3000 is the first device from the company to incorporate a full HD 1080p screen. Yes, it took a while for Xolo to do that, as we saw the 5.5 inch Q2000 sporting a 720p screen even when it had the MT6589 Turbo inside. But with the Q3000, Xolo has its first 5.7″ device as well as its first 1080p phone, so we felt it would be pretty interesting to check this phone out. Xolo Win 10.1inch Windows 8 Tablet Hands on
Xolo was the first company to bring Intel powered smartphones to the market and now, they are the first company to bring AMD processor powered tablets in India. Xolo unveiled their first Windows tablet – Xolo Win at the CES 2014. Xolo Win is a 10.1inch display tablet with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and it runs on Windows 8.1 OS. We went hands on with the device and you can check out the video right below.

Xolo partners with AMD for its first 10.1″ Windows 8 tablet – Xolo Win
Xolo, the Indian company known for its range of low cost smartphones, has just unveiled its first Windows 8 tablet at CES 2014 – the Xolo Win, powered by the AMD A4 Elite mobility processor. This is a first for XOLO as well as AMD, as this is the first Windows tablet for the former while it is the first APU-powered tablet for the latter. Sporting a 10.1″ inch screen with a 1366×768 resolution, the mid range tablet will take on the likes of the first generation Surface with similar specifications, but with full Windows 8 functionality. It will have 2 GB of RAM, rear and front facing cameras and a battery that supposedly lasts up to 7 hours. The Xolo Win is slated to be released in the Indian market by the end of January 2014.
