Compact phones won’t need to compromise on features or specifications. This is what Sony believes and it shows, with their “compact” series of devices that launch alongside the Z series flagships. The Z1, Z3 and now the Z5 have “compact” versions that cater to the people who still want smaller screens despite the entire market moving in a different direction. Just yesterday Sony announced Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact & Xperia Z5 Premium at IFA 2015. Today, UK and Europe pricing and availability of all these smartphones have been revealed.
Sony has announced the Xperia Z5 Compact at the IFA 2015. It has a 4.6-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) Triluminos Display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It has a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button and packs a 23-megapixel rear camera with 1/2.3″ Sony Exmor RS image sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Sony G lens, Hybrid AF speed of 0.03s, 5x clear image zoom without loss of quality, 4K video recording, similar to the Xperia Z5. Live image of upcoming smartphones from Sony have surfaced in a new leak. The handsets in the image that was leaked by @viziLeaks are claimed to be Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact.
