The next high end Sony smartphone was just unveiled. Dubbed the Sony Xperia T, it brings a 4.55″ display with a resolution of 1280 x720. Sony calls this the “best HD experience on a phone to date”. The phone is running on Android 4.0 on a 1.5Ghz processor.

The Xperia P marks the middle range from Sony’s NXT range of devices. It brings a good balance between power and style and is placed between the higher end Xperia S and the youth-centric U which we reviewed recently.

Sony’s upcoming Xperia GX just made an appearance at the FCC revealing some more details of what could be Sony’s next flagship device. The specifications are said to include a Qualcomm S4 dual core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.
The Sony Xperia S27i has been leaked by means of its user agent profile being listed on the Sony website. It brings with it a whole host of details about the as of yet unannounced phone. It is believed to be the successor to the Xperia S17i or the Xperia Active.

When it comes to ads, Sony has always pushed the limit of creativeness. Who here remember their famous Bravia ads, like Playdoh and Paint? With the release of their next Xperia NXT devices, Sony Mobile is relying on a massive advertising campaign to promote the brand. The new TV campaign is directed by Wes Anderson of Fantastic Mr. Fox fame. It tells the story of little Androids who work tirelessly inside an Xperia smartphone, all based on the imagination of a little kid. How sweet is that? The TV ad is supposed to premier on the evening of Saturday 24 March but it seems that someone at Sony has jumped the gun. Jump over to view the stop motion animated ad in all its glory.

Sony announced two new Xperia NXT smartphones at MWC a couple of days ago and today we had a chance to go hands-on with the new devices, the Xperia P and Xperia U, alongside the already announced Xperia S. Read on for our hands-on impressions.
With the new Xperia NXT family, Sony has introduced a new design language that looks stunning. While the new Xperia S, Xperia P and Xperia U were developed under Sony Ericsson, the far reaching influence of Sony are clear. The translucent bar near the bottom of the phones for example reminds me of a couple of their Bravia TV models with ‘floating’ frame construction. Read on for our hands-on impressions.
The Sony XPERIA P marks the mid range of Sony’s latest smartphone portfolio. It follows the same design principles and borrows the transparent bar from the Xperia S.
Sony took off the wraps from the XPERIA U which will be its low end handset targeting the youth. The Android powered phone comes with interchangeable caps to personalize the colors.
Sony announced the XPERIA S a while back and we went hands on with it here at MWC. The handset comes with a 4.3″ 720p display powered by the proprietary Bravia Engine which is said to boost colors.
Sony Music Unlimited is a subscription based streaming service from Sony like the Video Download service and the Playstation store.
