YU YUPHORIA Cyanogen OS 12.1 update to roll out starting from today

YU started rolling out Cyanogen OS 12.1 update based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) for its YUREKA and YUREKA PLUS smartphones last month. Today Rahul Sharma, Co-founder and CEO of YU tweeted that Cyanogen OS 12.1 update for the YU YUPHORIA smartphone has been certified by Google CTS and will start rolling out from tonight. This comes months after the company said that it had entered final testing phase. YU YUREKA and YUPHORIA Cyanogen OS 12.1 update in final stages of testing

Cyanogen OS 12 update based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) rolled out for YU YUREKA back in April. It even got an incremental update to improve the battery life last month. YU YUPHORIA was launched running on Cyanogen OS 12 out of the box. Today Rahul Sharma, Co-founder and CEO of YU has announced that Cyanogen OS 12.1 update based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) is in the final phase of testing.
