ASUS just announced the Zenfone 4 series at an event in Taiwan, as it had promised. This includes Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 4 Pro with dual rear cameras and the Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro and the Zenfone 4 Selfie with dual front-facing cameras. All these have a unibody design, 120-degree wide-angle lens for the front camera and a fingerprint sensor on the front. It also showcased the Zenfone 4 Max that was introduced last month along with the new Zenfone 4 Max Pro at the event. ASUS already unveiled unveiled its ZenFone 4 Max (ZC554KL) smartphone in Russia last month and is all set to unveil its Zenfone 4 series, that includes the ZenFone 4, ZenFone 4 Pro, ZenFone 4 Selfie and ZenFone 4V at an event in China on August 17th. Today complete specifications of the Zenfone 4, Zenfone 4 Selfie and Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro have surfaced on official ASUS France eShop. This confirms dual rear cameras for the Zenfone 4 and the Zenfone 4 Selfie series have dual front cameras. A cheaper version of Zenfone 4 Max has also surfaced. ASUS has sent out invites for the announcement of its flagship Zenfone 4 smartphone at an event in China on August 17th. It is expected to announced the ZenFone 4 Pro, ZenFone 4 Selfie and ZenFone 4V as well at the event.

The Zenfone 4  is a low-end device in the series which sports 4 inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive multi touch display. Asus ZenFone 4 vs ZenFone 5 vs ZenFone 6 Size Comparison

Amidst a flurry of Android and Windows tablets and laptops, Asus unveiled a new series of Android smartphones at CES 2014. The new series of smartphones, Asus ZenFone series, comprises of three smartphones – ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6. Each of the smartphones is named based on their screen size and all these offerings fall in the entry and mid-range category.
