Asus has started rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Asus ZenFone Selfie (ZD551KL) and Asus ZenFone Zoom(ZX551KL). The update brings all the latest features of Android Marshmallow to both the phones.

In November last year, Asus confirmed that a few of its devices will be receiving the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. However, it didn’t release a timeline for the updates but now we do have one and it also has added a few more devices to the mix.

Asus Zenfone Selfie gets the deluxe treatment – 3GB RAM and 128GB storage
Asus launched the Zenfone 2 Deluxe which was basically a limited edition Zenfone 2 with a different back design. Asus also launched a limited edition of the Zenfone 2 Deluxe with 256GB capacity in Brazil. The Zenfone Laser and Zoom also received similar treatments and now it is the turn of the Zenfone Selfie to get the deluxe treatment.

Asus Zenfone Selfie with 13MP front and rear cameras with flash announced
Asus just announced the Zenfone Selfie, the company’s latest selfie-focus smartphone with a 13-megapixel front and rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash at the Computex 2015. It even has a laser auto focus for the rear camera for capturing images faster and better even in low-lighting conditions. It has the same 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display seen on the Zenfone 2, but it has the latest Corning Gorilla glass protection.
