Twitter reports $1.28 billion in revenue in Q3 2021, 211 million monetizable DAUs, up 13% YoY
Social media giant Twitter has released their earnings report for Q3 2021, which records an earnings of $1.28 billion in revenue, and a 13% YoY growth in Monetizable Daily Active Usage (mDAU). As part of the total revenue, Advertising revenue contributed $1.18 billion, while Data licensing and other revenue totaled $143 million.

Social media giant Twitter has reportedly acquired a London-based startup company called Sphere that is known for their group chat app service. The team from Sphere will be joining Twitter and will work on various services within Twitter such as Communities, Direct Messages, and Creators initiatives.

Twitter has released their earnings report for the second quarter of 2021, recording a total revenue of $1.19 billion globally, which equates to a growth of 74% YoY. Along with this, their average monetizable daily active users have increased by 11% YoY to a total of 206 million users.
Twitter is shutting down Fleets due to lack of engagement
Just a year after introducing the feature, Twitter Fleets will no longer be available in the platform after August 3, 2021.
