Amazon planning to offer paid apps for free via “Unlocked” program
With an aim to bolster its Appstore installs, Amazon is said to be launching a new “Unlocked” program, as per Tech Crunch. This service will offer paid apps and games absolutely free.
The report describes Unlocked as “Amazon Prime for apps,” and it would offer paid apps for free, and even unlock all in-app purchases for “free-to-play” games. Amazon introduces one-hour delivery in the US with Prime Now
Amazon has introduced Prime Now, the company’s new one-hour delivery service for the US so that you can order “tens of thousands” of “daily essentials” such as paper towels, shampoo, books, toys, batteries and more for immediate delivery. Prime Now is currently available in select areas of Manhattan and is available from 6AM to midnight, seven days a week. You can download the iOS or Android app and select the fastest one-hour delivery option for $7.99 per order. Two-hour deliveries are free for Prime members.
