Earlier this year, AMD unveiled the Ryzen 7 5800X3D desktop processor, which is their first processor to feature their 3D V-Cache technology. The processor is going on sale from April 20th, and along with it, AMD has introduced 6 new SKUs that will join the ‘Zen 3’ and ‘Zen 2’ family of processors.

AMD completes acquisition of semiconductor company Xilinx
AMD has announced the completion of their acquisition of American semiconductor manufacturing company Xilinx, as the deal has received regulatory approval. The acquisition will expand AMD’s portfolio of products in the industry, and it will also double the number of employees under AMD in India.

AMD has launched Radeon RX 6500 XT graphics cards for the desktop, capable of 1080p gaming in India, after it was introduced at the CES earlier this month. MediaTek and AMD unveil AMD RZ600 Series Wi-Fi 6E Modules for laptops and PCs
AMD has partnered with MediaTek to unveil their newest Wi-Fi solution, called the AMD RZ600 Series Wi-Fi 6E modules. It features the MediaTek Filogic 330P chipset inside and is designed to power the next-generation AMD Ryzen-series laptop and desktop PCs starting 2022 onwards.

AMD unveils EPYC ‘Genoa’ CPUs with up to 96 Zen 4 cores and ‘Bergamo’ CPUs with up to 128 Zen 4c cores
Yesterday, AMD announced a number of new processors in their server lineup of EPYC CPUs. The 4th generation of EPYC processors will come in two segments – one codenamed ‘Genoa’ with up to 96 Zen 4 cores, and another codenamed ‘Bergamo’ with up to 128 Zen 4c cores. Along with this, AMD also announced first exascale-class GPU accelerators called AMD Instinct MI200 series accelerators.
