AOC introduced its first AOC M601 smartphone in India last month. Now the smartphone is available from online retailer Amazon in India. It has a 6-inch qHD display, is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. AOC, popular for its LED and LCD displays globally, has appointed Atul Jasra as Business Head for tablets and smartphones in India & other SAARC Countries. Last week there were reports that the company plans to enter the Indian smartphone market with a 6-inch phablet and launch a new tablet in the country in November. As mentioned on the official website, the AOC D70V50G tablet has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display, has Dual SIM support, 3G connectivity and voice calling capabilities. AOC to launch 6-inch phablet and 7-inch tablet in India in November: Report
AOC, popular for its displays and monitors entered into tablet market with the launch of two new Android tablets under the Breeze category in India back in April 2013, now the company is back with another tablet and also plans to enter into the smartphone market next month, according to a report from ET. The AOC D70V50G that has been listed on the official website has a 7-inch display, runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), has 3G connectivity with voice calling capabilities and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor. AOC Breeze 7-inch and 9.7-inch tablets running Android 4.1 launched for Rs. 7990 and Rs. 12990
AOC, popular for it’s monitors and Televisions has entered into the tablet market with the launch of two new Android tablets under the Breeze category. These come in 7-inch and 9.7-inch displays, powered by a 1.5 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean). The display resolutions of these tablets are not available yet. The 9.7-inch Breeze tablet has a micro-HDMI port that would let you connect it to external devices such as Monitors, TVs, and Projectors.
