Rumour : BlackBerry Messenger Service headed to Android and iOS

So here is the news for all those who dont use a BlackBerry, but always wanted to have a similar version of a BlackBerry Messenger service on their phones. Research In Motion(RIM) is  finally planning to bring their exclusive BlackBerry Messenger app service to Android and iOS . The company may offer the software free  to download or may charge users a one-time fee to access their BBM services on third-party platforms.

Bank of America testing Mobile Wallet with NFC-enabled BlackBerry smartphones

BlackBerry 4G PlayBook for Sprint !


The BlackBerry Playbook is one impressive tablet atleast from what we have seen so far. When RIM announced this tablet few months ago , it spoke only about WiFi versions but hinted at 3G/4G versions for the future. And today at CES Sprint and RIM announced the BlackBerry 4G PlayBook for the Sprint 4G ( WiMax) network. It is expected to be launched this summer.

Now the folks at Blackberry have shared a video which highlights the web browser’s multimedia capabilities. It plays HTML 5 videos , full youtube videos without any delay. The pages also load pretty fast similar to a desktop. And since the Playbook supports Adobe Flash , you can also play Flash Games without leaving the browser.
