New range of Dell Latitude laptops and convertibles launched in India starting Rs. 44,999

Dell acquires data storage firm EMC for $67 billion
Dell has acquired data storage giant EMC in what is said to be the largest technology deal ever worth $67 billion. Under the terms of the agreement, EMC shareholders will receive $24.05 per share in cash in addition to tracking stock linked to a portion of EMC’s economic interest in the VMware business.

Dell Venue 7 3741 with 6.95-inch display, 3G and voice calling launched in India for Rs. 7999
Dell has launched Venue 7 3741, the company’s latest budget Android tablet in India. It has a 6.95-inch (1024×600 pixels) screen, is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera without flash and a VGA front-facing camera.
Dell Venue 8 7000 series Android tablet launched in India for Rs. 34999
Dell introduced Venue 8 7840 in the 7000 series, as the world’s thinnest tablet at just 6mm thickness, back in September last year. It went on sale in the US earlier this year. Now the company has launched the tablet in India. It has a 8.4-inch (2560 x 1600 pixel) OLED display, is powered by a 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 processor with PowerVR G6430 GPU. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera, two Intel RealSense Snapshot Depth Cameras for depth mapping, measurements and 3D editing and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Dell has announced Venue 10 7000, the company’s latest tablet in the Venue 10 series. It has a 10.5″ (2560×1600 pixels) AMOLED display, is powered by a Intel Atom Z3580 processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). The tablet is just 6.2mm thick, has aluminum build and a cylinder on the side, which houses the battery and speakers. It also has Android for Work, targeted at business that lets you separate work data from personal data.
