HTC Wildfire X with 6.22-inch Waterdrop display, triple rear cameras launched in India starting at Rs. 9999

HTC just launched Wildfire X, the company’s latest smartphone in the Wildfire series in India. It has a 6.22-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display with 88.8% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC with up to 4GB RAM, runs Android Pie, has a 12-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 8-megapixel camera for loss-less 2x optical zoom and 8x Hybrid Zoom and a 5-megapixel depth sensing camera for portrait shots. It also has an 8-megapixel camera on the front.

HTC has announced U19e, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone at an event in China, as expected. It has a 6-inch FHD+ 18:9 aspect ratio screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, is powered by Snapdragon 710 with 6GB of RAM and Game assistant for an improved gaming experience, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with HTC Sense UI, has a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture along with a 20-megapixel telephoto lens with support for 2x optical zoom and up to 10x digital zoom. HTC 2Q7A100 with Full HD+ display, Snapdragon 710, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage surfaces in benchmarks

It has been months since HTC had launched a mid-range or high-end smartphones. A report from last December said that it will launch new mid-tier to high-end models in 2019, after confirming that it is not shutting down its smartphone business. Now the company’s first smartphone for the year has surfaced in benchmarks. “HTC 2Q7A100” benchmark listing reveals a Snapdragon 710 SoC, 6GB of RAM and Android 9.0 (Pie).

HTC will roll out Android 9.0 (Pie) update for U11, U11+ and U12+ in Q2 2019

HTC was the first company to confirm Android Pie update for its  smartphones – HTC U12+, U11+, U11, and U11 life. HTC Exodus 1 gets new blockchain features, can now be purchased with real money

HTC has announced Desire 12s, months after introduction of Desire 12.  It has a 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display, is powered by Snapdragon 435 with up to 4GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with HTC Sense UI on and 13-megapixel front and rear cameras, both with LED flash. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, comes with dual SIM support and packs a 3075mAh battery.
