HUAWEI today launched the HUAWEI WATCH FIT, the company’s latest smartwatch in India, after it was introduced last year. It features a 1.64-inch HD unique rectangular AMOLED touch screen with auto-brightness adjustment offering better viewing in sunlight and six Always-On watch faces. HUAWEI today launched the FreeBuds 4i, the company’s latest TWS earbuds in India, after teasing it recently. This comes as the successor to FreeBuds 3i which was launched in India last year. It has active noise cancellation (ANC), up to 10h standalone battery life and a new round case. The headset features 3D ergonomic design and ear canal close fit, lightweight body, reducing the burden to ears, and a more comfortable wearing experience. After the announcement in China last month, HUAWEI has introduced the nova 9 smartphone for global markets, starting from Europe. It runs Android 11 with EMUI instead of Harmony OS 2 in China, but these don’t have Google Mobile Services like the HONOR 50 which was launched globally earlier this week. HUAWEI has announced WATCH GT 3, the company’s latest smartwatch in the GT series. It has almost similar specifications as the WATCH 3 that was introduced in China back in June, including the rotating crown to zoom in and out of the apps and quickly access target functions. It comes in 42mm version with a 1.32-inch and a 46mm version with a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen. HUAWEI has introduced Freelace Lite, the company’s entry-level neckband wireless earphones, along with the nova 9 series in China. This comes after the Freelace in 2019 and the Freelace Pro last year. Unlike the other models that have an in-ear design, this has a semi-in-ear design and features 13 mm large dynamic drivers with an independent metal bass tube structure, for an enhanced bass. HUAWEI just announced nova 9 and nova 9 Pro, two new smartphones in the Nova series, in China. Both the phones feature a 6.57″ / 6.72″ FHD+ AMOLED screens with 120Hz refresh rate and are powered by Snapdragon 778G SoC, but these only come with 4G support. These feature a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultra wide-angle, 2MP macro and 2MP depth-of-field cameras. The nova 9 has a 32MP front camera inside a punch-hole, and the pro version has an additional 32MP ultra-wide camera. HUAWEI just launched the HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro, the company’s latest top-end smartwatch in India. It has almost similar specifications as the Watch GT 2, but this comes with a rugged design featuring premium materials, including a sapphire watch crystal, titanium case and skin-friendly ceramic case back. It supports 100+ workout modes, including 17 professional modes and 85 custom modes such as Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Snowboarding and Golf Driving Range. HUAWEI launched its HUAWEI Band 6, the company’s latest smart band, in India last month. This has a large 1.47-inch AMOLED 2.5D touch screen that has 148% bigger display area compared to the HUAWEI Band 4 Pro. In addition to 24-Hour Heart Rate Monitoring, it also offers 24-hour blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring that is not available even in the HONOR Band 6 that is slightly cheaper. Is it worth the price? Along with the P50 series, HUAWEI also introduced the HUAWEI Band 6 Pro, successor to HUAWEI Band 6 and the HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro ECG, an upgrade to the HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro. The Band 6 Pro adds a built-in temperature detection sensor to detect skin temperature and estimated body temperature that shows changes in body temperature, and provides high and low temperature reminders. It has 24-Hour Heart Rate Monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring and 96 workout modes, but it still doesn’t have GPS support. HUAWEI has announced its flagship P50 and P50 Pro smartphones in an online event, as it had promised. The P50 has a flat 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate and the Pro model has a 6.6-inch FHD+ OLED curved screen with 120Hz refresh rate. Both these have 1.07 billion color display with support 1,440Hz PWM dimming, a punch-hole screen with a 13MP front camera, and the Pro model has a 100-degree field of view and autofocus.
