HUAWEI Band 6 Review: Feature-packed smart band

HUAWEI launched its HUAWEI Band 6, the company’s latest smart band, in India last month. This has a large  1.47-inch AMOLED 2.5D touch screen that has 148% bigger display area compared to the HUAWEI Band 4 Pro. In addition to 24-Hour Heart Rate Monitoring, it also offers 24-hour blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring that is not available even in the HONOR Band 6 that is slightly cheaper. Is it worth the price? HUAWEI Band 6 Pro with 1.47-inch AMOLED screen, body temperature monitoring and HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro ECG announced

Along with the P50 series, HUAWEI also introduced the HUAWEI Band 6 Pro, successor to HUAWEI Band 6 and the HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro ECG, an upgrade to the HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro. The Band 6 Pro adds a built-in temperature detection sensor to detect skin temperature and estimated body temperature that shows changes in body temperature, and provides high and low temperature reminders. It has 24-Hour Heart Rate Monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring and 96 workout modes, but it still doesn’t have GPS support. HUAWEI P50 Pro with 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED curved display, True-Form Dual-Matrix Camera and HUAWEI P50 announced

HUAWEI has announced its flagship P50 and P50 Pro smartphones in an online event, as it had promised. The P50 has a flat 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate and the Pro model has a 6.6-inch FHD+ OLED curved screen with 120Hz refresh rate. Both these have 1.07 billion color display with support 1,440Hz PWM dimming, a punch-hole screen with a 13MP front camera, and the Pro model has a 100-degree field of view and autofocus. HUAWEI P50 series with Leica rear cameras to be announced on July 29

After teasers last month, HUAWEI today scheduled an event in China on July 29th to introduce its flagship P50 series. The company’s CEO Richard Yu said “The road forward has no end, this time we surpass ourselves in the field of imaging again” He added that this pioneer new mobile imaging technology in the industry. HUAWEI Band 6 with 1.47-inch AMOLED display, 96 workout modes, SpO2 monitoring launched in India

HUAWEI just launched the HUAWEI Band 6, the company’s latest smart band in India, after teasing it recently. The band has 1.47-inch AMOLED 2.5D touch screen, supports 100+ faces. It offers 50m (5 ATM) water resistance, heart rate tracking. In addition to 24-Hour Heart Rate Monitoring, it also offers blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring. This is similar to the HONOR Band 6, but this comes with 96 workout modes, compared to 10. HUAWEI MatePad 11 with 10.95-inch WQXGA 120Hz display, Snapdragon 865, HarmonyOS 2, quad speakers announced

HUAWEI has introduced its new MatePad 11 in China, after the MatePad Pro 12.6 and MatePad Pro 10.8 were unveiled last month. It packs a 10.5-inch WQXGA LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, supports second-generation M-Pencel stylus with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and 2ms delay, is powered by Snapdragon 865 couple with 6GB of RAM. HarmonyOS arrives for smartphones — New features and list of devices that will get the update

HUAWEI today announced HarmonyOS 2.0 at its event earlier today bringing the company’s own OS to smartphones, tablets and smartwatch after the beta release last year, and this is reportedly a forked Android, but HUAWEI says that it is based on open source project OpenHarmony 2.0. It has a tag line “One As All, All As One”, and the company says that the new operating system offers cross-device communication and innovative features such as service widgets, new control panel, and a superior performance for all-round superior performance, with powerful security management. HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.6 with WQXGA OLED display, Kirin 9000E, 8 speakers and MatePad Pro 10.8 with Snapdragon 870, HarmonyOS announced

Along with the HUAWEI Watch 3 series, HUAWEI also introduced its new MatePad 12.6″ at its event in China. It packs the same 12.6-inch WQXGA OLED display with 90% screen-to-body ratio, professional-grade colour accuracy level of ΔE<0.5,6  wide DCI-P3 colour gamut and high contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, comes with hardware-level low blue light eye protection solution with TÜV Rheinland Full Care Display 2.0 certification. HUAWEI P50 series with Leica quad rear cameras teased officially, launch delayed

At the end of the HarmonyOS and product launch event, HUAWEI posted a teaser of its upcoming P50 Pro that shows two camera cutouts with triple cameras in the first one and a single camera in the second cut out which is said to be a variable aperture liquid lens that first made its debut in the Mi MIX Fold back in March. HUAWEI WATCH 3 and WATCH 3 Pro with 1.43-inch AMOLED curved screen, HarmonyOS, Skin temperature detection announced

HUAWEI at its event announced the WATCH 3 and WATCH 3 Pro, the company’s latest smartwatches running HarmonyOS 2.0, as expected. These feature a 1.43-inch AMOLED curved high-response touch-sensitive screen, side button and fully rotatable crown, offset for easy access. You can rotate the crown for easy scrolling through on-display features and volume settings. It comes with 30 cool pre-installed faces, including animated faces and 1,000+ designs available on HUAWEI Watch Face Store. You can create your own animated Watch faces using 5-10 sec short videos.

HUAWEI to introduce HarmonyOS for smartphones and tablets along with new products on June 2

HUAWEI introduced HarmonyOS back in 2019 and the HarmonyOS 2.0 was introduced in September 2020 and also confirmed that HarmonyOS will be coming to smartphones. Today it has announced a global launch event on June 2nd in which it will introduce the HarmonyOS for smart devices such as phones and tablets and also launch new products that will run the HarmonyOS. HUAWEI FreeBuds 4 ANC earbuds with semi-open design, Bluetooth 5.2, fast charging announced

HUAWEI today introduced FreeBuds 4 , the company’s latest true wireless earbuds with Bluetooth 5.2 chipset that reduces latency to 90ms. It has a Semi-open design compared to in-ear design in the FreeBuds Pro and FreeBuds 4i, but it still has adaptive noise reduction technology that moderately reduces external low-frequency noise, making your hearing more comfortable during noise reduction. HUAWEI to invest $1 billion into electric vehicles and self-driving technology

 Just as Xiaomi announced their entry into the smart electric vehicle business, HUAWEI has revealed their plans to invest $1 billion into the research and development of EV and self-driving technologies. To achieve the goal of entering this market space, the company will be partnering with 3 automakers in China, who will release cars under the HUAWEI name as a sub-brand.

HUAWEI P50 Pro with 6.6-inch display, ultra-slim bezels surface in new renders

HUAWEI P50 Pro surfaced in CAD renders back in December that showed the curved display of the phone, thanks to @OnLeaks now more renders of the phone has surfaced that shows the back of the phone which shows a large camera bumps with two large cutouts that is said to house several cameras including the periscope camera. This camera design is similar to the Nova 8 series that was introduced in December. However, we don’t have the camera specifications yet. HUAWEI Mate 40E with 6.5-inch FHD+ 90Hz OLED screen, Kirin 990E, 8GB RAM, 64MP triple rear cameras announced

HUAWEI today announced Mate 40E, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the Mate 40 series in China. It has a 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED 90Hz refresh rate screen and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Compared to Kirin 9000 5G 5nm SoCs in the Mate 40, this is powered by Kirin 990E 7nm SoC with dedicated NPUs and supports SA and NSA 5G dual-mode. It runs Android 10 with EMUI 11.0 on top with HMS.
